About Orlando
Troy University’s Orlando Site is a regionally accredited university established locally in 1992 on NTC Orlando (Naval Training Center), to offer educational programs to the military and civilian population. The formally known TSU (Troy State University) Florida Region established in 1972 was a branch campus of Troy University with 9 satellite locations in the state of Florida. The Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership was offered at NTC Orlando followed by the Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Development in 1993 and in 1995 the Masters of Management begun.
Due to base closures TROY’s Orlando site moved to its current location at 1020 North Orlando Ave. Suite Z, Winter Park, FL and now serves five counties in the Orlando Metropolitan area. In 2005 the separately accredited campuses were merged into a single university structure forming Troy University. In 2007, Troy University Florida Region merged with the Southeast Region to include sites in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
TROY’s Orlando site offers a unique blend of options and flexibility such as evening and weekend classes, which allows degree completion in 6 terms in a variety of different programs. This helps to eliminate any obstacles standing between adult working students and their educational goals.
The Orlando site offers on site masters degree programs in Counseling and Psychology, Management, Human Resources Management, Public Administration and Education. Our online courses also offer a full array of graduate and undergraduate programs.
